Based in Rochdale, Lancashire, the family business was founded by Christine Ainsworth after having personal experience of living with a stoma. She was a pioneer in offering help and support to others in a similar situation to herself. All our stock is purchased from leading, independent wholesalers of Stoma Care and Incontinence products, to enable us to fulfil all prescriptions promptly. We receive daily deliveries, hold thousands of product lines in stock, and are able to dispense all appliances on the England and Wales Drug Tariff. At Ainsworth’s we pride ourselves on providing you with completely unbiased advice, enabling us to supply you with information and products from all manufactures such as Coloplast, Dansac, Pelican, Salts and many more.

We were the first in the North West to initiate the use of a state of the art cutting machine as part of our cutting service. This is alongside our dedicated, professional team of hand cutters who can both customise pouches or flanges to your specific needs.
