I have been with Amcare and the company they merged with, Homestyle for 18 years. You do need to order in advance, they usually take about 10-14 days to deliver from order, but they do all the necessary. I phone them with my order, they liaise with my GP and have the prescription sent direct to them, and fill the order, so I don’t have to do anything but phone my order and wait. Read more

When I first used this company it was very efficient but since October this year the service has been appalling and it has caused me severe anxiety and panic attacks. To begin with they emailed the prescription request, followed by a written request sent by Royal Mail. However in since October they have sent the request by Royal Mail and when I questioned this with them they said the hadn’t got the email address of my surgery! I have lost confidence in this company as I don’t believe what they are telling me. I would definitely not recommend this company.

There have been occasions when I had let my supplies of ostomy appkiances run to low and at very short notice Ancare came to the rescue andhad an urgent delivery for me in advance of receiving my prescriptions. I have had a stoma for the past 28 years I having been using Amcare for the last 10 years .The girls in the office who do the prescriptions are excellent ,very helpful nothing is too much trouble .I use the Lincoln Office .I cannot speak more highly of the ladies who work in the office ,Sarah is one of them who I deal with .

Amcare 100% all the way, very efficient went with Fittleworth for a short period of time but found them to be questioning my prescription every time so reverted back to Amcare. Amcare will always call or contact me if there is a problem with my prescription. I have found that the customer service is absolutely brilliant, very friendly and very knowledgeable

Waited since January 2020 for them to send my Comfizz briefs that they had the prescription. Told me in February after calling several times they wouldn’t be available until March/April. Foned and foned with promises I will get a call back. Never happens!!!

To start with l didn’t know how long a box would last np phoned them up were really helpful, didn’t make me feel stupid and expressed replacements.
