Having had a sub total collectomy, I was in a state of shock and ignorance as I began life with a stoma. The support, understanding and professional expertise provided by you has helped me through crisis and the practicalities of stoma management over the last 12 years. For this I thank you. I began calling my stoma “Volcanic Sid”. I couldn’t ignore him and he was unpredictable and made his presence known. Now? Not so
