The Scottish NHS does not have an online ordering system connected to health centers. This means that every time request an order Coloplas has to send a letter to my health clinic for a doctor to review my prescription, sign confirmation, and send it back. It has to be received by Coloplast before the items can be sent to me. This can sometimes take up to or more than a week and on one occasion

This means that every time request an order Coloplas has to send a letter to my health clinic for a doctor to review my prescription, sign confirmation, and send it back. It has to be received by Coloplast before the items can be sent to me. This can sometimes take up to or more than a week and on one occasion the letter was not received back to Coloplast at all. Thankfully on this occasion the Colopast team member was proactive and called my healthcare clinic and confirmed with them that the doctor had signed the prescription thus releasing the order to be straight away. Thanks go to the Colopalst Team for their care and understanding.
