I stopped using Amcare in July after months of lost orders, problems sending pharmacy requests, and at times getting very close to running out of stoma supplies. The telephone staff however were always very cheerful despite the system being diabolical. To top it all I’ve just received a parcel from them today (I’ve not placed an order with them since July), containing one item which I used to order, with an invoice enclosed with NO explanation and NO order date. So the excuse they’ve been using about the old system being terrible and outdated, seems to have been transferred to the new system, as that seems to be just as bad.
