I last used Charter about 5 years ago, so granted they could have drastically improved since then, but nonetheless my experience was woeful and it has stuck in the mind! It was always someone different who took my call; the process had the feel of ringing a large multinational telecoms provider, multiple menus, long hold times etc etc. The service was utterly inflexible and any time an emergency order was necessary, that meant nothing, there
I last used Charter about 5 years ago, so granted they could have drastically improved since then, but nonetheless my experience was woeful and it has stuck in the mind! It was always someone different who took my call; the process had the feel of ringing a large multinational telecoms provider, multiple menus, long hold times etc etc. The service was utterly inflexible and any time an emergency order was necessary, that meant nothing, there was still a week’s wait. Invariably there would always be something wrong with the order, and after my needs & prescription had changed, that would take at least 3-4 orders to iron out, meaning more mistakes. I made the grave error of making a holiday order which spelled disaster for the next couple of regular orders - they all went to my holiday address, despite repeated calls to try to remedy this. All in all it was an exasperating & trying process dealing with Charter, and eventually I gave up and went back to the old fashioned way of having the local pharmacy deal with all the items. No amount of complimentary wipes were worth that hassle!
