I have been using Charter for years, with generally good service. But my last order has been a nightmare - they sent the prescription request to the wrong GP email address, which they never checked until after several calls and me checking the email address in person with the GP reception team. I have been using Charter for years, with generally good service. But my last order has been a nightmare - they sent the prescription request to the wrong GP email address, which they never checked until after several calls and me checking the email address in person with the GP reception team. After 10 days Charter confirmed by email they'd received the prescription and the order was being dispatched - only it wasn't, as they'd run out of stock (of their own product). At no time did Charter raise any of these issues, web chat appears to be permanently unavailable, and it takes ages to get through on the phone ("We're busy helping other customers"). To cap it all, the new "improved" web site is completely unhelpful with meaningless order status messages. Time to change supplier, sadly.
