I have been provided with my stoma products for 18+ years since I had to have my colon removed including for the last six years since I had to have my bladder removed. Initially I had to try a number of different products until I found the ones that suited me (I had problems with leakage). The different products were recommended and ordered by the stoma nurse who was employed by Fittleworth and the replacements
I have been provided with my stoma products for 18+ years since I had to have my colon removed including for the last six years since I had to have my bladder removed. Initially I had to try a number of different products until I found the ones that suited me (I had problems with leakage). The different products were recommended and ordered by the stoma nurse who was employed by Fittleworth and the replacements were always delivered rapidly. Thereafter telephoned my order direct to Fittleworth. I always found the staff vert friendly and helpful. Until comparatively recently my order was delivered by a Fittleworth employ who was very friendly. I always received a text message the 1 hour window for delivery. More recently Fittleworth have used DPD, a courier service, to deliver my order and I receive a text message in advance with delivery tome. Quite recently the NHS have set up a Stoma Ordering Service which is excellent. Previously when I placed an order with Fittleworth they had to send this to my GP who ruthenium sent a prescription to Fittleworth who then processed the order - this could take up to 15 working days. The stoma ordering service has direct access to a stoma nurse who sends a prescription and I get delivery of my osprder in a maximum of five working days from initially placing the order. I am aware that this review may seem to be “to good to be true” but my experience has genuinely been excellent which has given me great confidence because there is nothing worse than not being certain that a delivery with arrive before I run out of my stoma supplies - which has never happened. 😀
